Icons offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in realms that were once only a figment of your imagination. Relax in the Up house, stay overnight at the Ferrari Museum, or mingle with Kevin Hart. We are excited to introduce the initial 11 Icons on Airbnb today, with additional experiences set to be revealed worldwide in the coming months.
Brian Chesky, the co-founder and CEO of Airbnb, expressed that Icons provide access to realms that were previously only found in one's imagination. He emphasized the importance of infusing more enchantment into the physical world as society becomes more reliant on digital advancements. Chesky stated that Icons offer the most exceptional experiences available on the planet.
Here are the first 11 Icons we are unveiling:
Experience the enchantment of staying in one of Disney and Pixar's most renowned residences, which happens to be a floating abode. Immerse yourself in the captivating world of Carl as you step into this meticulously crafted replica of his house, adorned with over 8,000 vibrant balloons. Nestled amidst the picturesque red rocks of Abiquiu, New Mexico, this extraordinary accommodation promises a truly unforgettable stay.
Spend the night in the Ferrari Museum – Experience the thrill of racing by staying at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy. A timer shows when each Icon will be available, and guests can make booking requests using the app. Those chosen will get a digital golden ticket, with over 4,000 tickets up for grabs in 2024.
