Margot Robbie is going to have a baby! The actress who was nominated for an Academy Award is apparently going to have her first child with her husband, Tom Ackerley.
Robbie's vacation photos in Italy caused rumors about a possible baby bump. People magazine has now confirmed the pregnancy with multiple sources. The couple has not said anything about it yet. Robbie and Ackerley got married in a small ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia in 2016.
Robbie and Ackerley, who became friends while working on a World War II movie in 2013 and have been married for eight years, are famous for keeping their relationship out of the spotlight. Lately, they were spotted having a lovely boat trip in Lake Como, Italy, where pictures from the Daily Mail revealed Robbie showing off her pregnant belly.

While on their trip to Italy, the Barbie actress wore a white crop top that showed her baby bump, along with a big blazer, black low-rise pants, a cream purse, and gold earrings. Her husband, Tom Ackerley, went for a relaxed style with a beige shirt and brown pants. The director helped his pregnant wife onto a yacht for a beautiful boat ride.
Robbie and Ackerley first met in 2013 while working on Suite Française. They started out as friends, but soon their friendship turned into love, and they got married in 2016. In an interview with Vogue, Robbie talked about how their relationship was a wonderful surprise, jokingly saying that Ackerley was “the most handsome guy in London.” Together, they started LuckyChap production company, which made many popular movies, like Barbie.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, Ackerley talked about how close they are with their friend, saying they spend all day together. They don't have a switch to turn their friendship on and off. It's all just one thing now.
In 2016, Robbie shared with Vogue her realization of falling for Ackerley, saying, “I used to be fiercely independent. The thought of being in a relationship made me feel nauseous. But then, it happened unexpectedly. We had been friends for a long time. I had always been in love with him, but I never thought he would feel the same way. I kept telling myself not to make things awkward or foolishly confess my feelings. And then, it just happened. I realized, ‘Of course we belong together. This finally makes sense, unlike anything else before.'”
