Scottish teenager Emma Ramsay fell from the sixth floor of the hotel in Ibiza
A British teenager has tragically passed away after allegedly falling from a hotel balcony during a vacation in Ibiza.
Emma Ramsay, a 19-year-old from Scotland, is said to have passed away after an incident in the San Antonio region of the Mediterranean island on the morning of Tuesday, August 20.
The teenager from Hamilton in South Lanarkshire had been sharing posts about her vacation on social media, expressing that she was ‘obsessed with this place.'

The Daily Record reports that a skilled law student fell from the sixth floor of the Hotel Vibra District.
Emergency services were said to have arrived at the four-star hotel by the sea just after 3am. She was reportedly pronounced dead at the location.
The headteacher of St John Ogilvie High, where Ramsey used to attend, expressed their sadness over the tragic news.
Lorna Lawson remarked that Emma was a remarkably kind, diligent, intelligent, and gifted student who made significant contributions to our school community.

Colette Watson, the headteacher of St Mark's Primary in Hamilton, stated: “Emma was a wonderful girl, kind and thoughtful, and many of our staff cherish their memories of her time here.”

Paris Mcgoldrick, a close friend of Emma, expressed heartfelt sentiments by saying, “I'm not sure how to start describing how wonderful Emma was. I cherished every part of you, and that love will last forever.”

A spokesperson from the Foreign Office stated, “We are assisting the family of a British woman who passed away in Spain and are in communication with local authorities.”
