Blake Lively was left ‘speechless' after an ‘insane' question about Taylor Swift.
Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds have been friends with Swift since 2015. They are such good friends that Swift is actually the godmother to their kids: James, who is 9, Inez, who is 7, Betty, who is 4, and Olin, who is just 1 year old.
While being interviewed on the Australian TV show The Project, a mother of four was asked to choose one Taylor Swift song that would be the perfect “soundtrack to her life.”
The 36-year-old responded:
“You can't ask me to pick one song,”
I really enjoy her music, so it's super hard to choose just one song. That would be totally crazy! I could probably tell you which of my kids I like best faster than that, if you're curious.
“I'm joking. I genuinely don't have a favorite child or song.” “That's a wild question.”
Reynolds even went so far as to joke that Swift acted as his kids nanny. He told E! News:
“The cost of that is … I believe the accountant said, ‘Cost-prohibitive,”
I believe what he was trying to say was, “This is way too expensive! What are you thinking? I'm not your accountant anymore!”
The media often talks about the friendship between Lively, Reynolds, and Swift. Swift, who is famous for having a tight group of friends, has taken the couple along to many of her public events. Plus, Reynolds and Lively's daughters made a special appearance in the beginning of Swift's song “Gorgeous.”
Their bond reflects mutual respect and admiration, with each supporting the other's career milestones and personal achievements.
