It appears that she is an actress who may not be familiar to you.
Jami Gertz, recognized for her portrayals in various movies and TV shows from the 1980s to the 2000s, surprisingly ranks as the most affluent actress globally.

Throughout her career, Gertz has appeared in popular films such as Twister, The Lost Boys, Still Standing, and Sixteen Candles. Her latest acting credit was in the 2022 romantic comedy I Want You Back, which was released on Prime Video.
Gertz was declared to have a staggering $3 billion net worth in 2023, as per NME, outshining the likes of Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lopez, and Jackie Chan, and claiming the prestigious title of the richest actor in the world.
Despite earning a significant sum from her work in acting, it is her business ventures outside of the entertainment industry that have truly contributed to her financial prosperity.
Gertz and American business tycoon Tony Ressler exchanged vows in 1989. Shortly after their marriage, Ressler went on to establish the private equity firms Apollo Global Management. Forbes reports that he now holds a net worth of $10.5 billion.

The couple has utilized their wealth throughout the years to invest in sports franchises, including owning a share of the NBA team, the Atlanta Hawks, and holding minority ownership in the baseball team, the Milwaukee Beavers.
Additionally, Gertz established Lime Orchard Productions, her own production company, in the year 2010.
When they first began dating, Gertz claims that Ressler was not worth more than his actress wife.
In 2018, she informed The Hollywood Reporter that many people believe she married a wealthy man. However, she clarified that she actually earned significantly more money than Tony when they first met. She was the one who financed their initial home and vacation. Her decision to marry him was based on her genuine love for him.

Considering their substantial wealth, Gertz and Ressler are both significant benefactors and frequently contribute generous amounts to charitable causes. They have also established The Ressler-Gertz Foundation, a charitable organization of their own.
In 2012, the couple was recognized as the top contributors to charity among all celebrities when they generously donated $10 million to their foundation.
Apart from their philanthropic endeavors, Ressler and Gertz have invested millions of dollars into their basketball team.
The renovation of State Farm Arena cost $192 million, with $50 million being contributed by the owners in cash. Following a six-month closure, the sports stadium resumed operations in late 2018.
