Ryan Reynolds just revealed the name of his and Blake Lively's fourth baby—Olin!
The actor from “Deadpool & Wolverine” shared some exciting news at the movie's premiere in New York City on Monday.
Reynolds, 47, shared his youngest child's special Nordic name when he spoke to the crowd before the much-awaited screening. “First off, I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is here,” he announced on stage. “I also want to thank my kids, James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I'm lucky, this moment will be the most shocking thing—that is, the stuff in this movie—that happens in your amazing life.”
“I love that my entire family is here,” he added.
So sweet!
The parents have three daughters named James, who is 9 years old, Inez, who is 7 years old, and Betty, who is 4 years old. The actor from “Red Notice” and Lively, who got married in September 2012, appeared to confirm the birth of their fourth child in February 2023.
The “Gossip Girl” actress, who is 36 years old, proudly showed off her growing baby bump in pictures posted on social media. She wrote, “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023🥘 🍲 🥧 been busy,” alongside some photos from her family's Super Bowl celebration. It looks like they might have more kids in the future!
On Monday, the actor from “Free Guy” said he wants to have more kids. He said, “I want as many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let's have more,” he told E! News.
They probably won't ask Taylor Swift to babysit, even though Reynolds made a joke about it being too expensive. He said, “The cost of that is… I believe the accountant said, ‘Cost-prohibitive.' But I think what he meant was, ‘Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I'm-no-longer-your-accountant.'”
Even though there were some tough parts, becoming a parent has been pretty easy for Reynolds. He mentioned in April 2023 that adjusting to having a family of six has been smoother than expected. “Going from two to three kids was a big change,” he shared with ET Canada. “But going from three to four wasn't as hard. I can't speak for my wife, but that's just what I've seen. We really enjoy it. We wouldn't be doing this again if we didn't love it.”
“Deadpool & Wolverine” hits theaters on July 26.
