Conor McGregor had a lot to get off his chest following Jake Paul's victory over Mike Perry
Conor McGregor can always be relied upon to deliver post-fight entertainment and a harsh critique of the boxing match, particularly when it involves Jake Paul.
The night before (20 July) transpired in a comparable manner, with the 36-year-old UFC athlete lambasting ‘The Problem Child' and his adversary Mike Perry following their showdown at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Perry rose to the occasion to challenge Paul following the delayed highly-anticipated match against boxing legend Mike Tyson, 58, on YouTube.
The Michigan native, aged 32, was knocked down to the canvas three times and sustained a significant number of punches before Paul, who arrived at the ring in a chariot and dressed as a gladiator, secured a TKO victory in the sixth round.
He elevated his professional boxing record to 10-1 after securing a win against another former UFC fighter in his most recent bout.

However, McGregor stated that the victory was not something to boast about.
The Irish celebrity initiated a smear campaign in a sequence of social media updates on X, labeling Paul as the ‘most despicable person', highlighting that he fought a significantly smaller adversary, and even alleging that he used substances to enhance his performance.
Nevertheless, as per sports enthusiasts, the candid fighter was merely expressing the thoughts of the majority.
McGregor's initial message stated: “Jake Paul is the most cowardly person I have ever encountered. There's a 40-pound weight gap, he's clearly using performance-enhancing drugs, and yet he's still terrified in the ring.”
“Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that's right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. B*tch asses. You could never.
“And then calling out 60year old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of b*tch p*ss. Most valuable p*ssbag.”

However, his actions did not stop there, as McGregor, a member of the ownership team at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), decided to part ways with Perry from the promotion after his loss.
Perry gained significant recognition in the BKFC after leaving the UFC, securing five major victories. However, the star of “Road House” showed no interest in him after witnessing his knockout.
In a separate post, he penned: “Hello Mike, you have been set free to participate in your unsanitary boxing championship, the stench of it, best of luck. You are terminated. @bareknucklefc.”
Explaining his decision, McGregor added: “Perry took a pay cut to take that fight btw. It was a wish of his. Astounding.
He will not receive an invitation to compete in the BKFC ring. Instead, he may engage in a few matches showcasing his new dirty boxing style using the MMA sparring gloves he has prepared. We extend our best wishes to him. His wish has been approved.
It is a significant change of heart, considering McGregor expressed his support for Perry before his fight against Paul – whom he referred to as a ‘little dweeb' prior to their match on Saturday.

Paul, aged 27, vowed to humiliate the entire BKFC by emerging victorious against their star, a scenario that clearly unfolded…and McGregor is displeased by the outcome.
Other individuals are also dissatisfied with the outcome, as per the opinions of social media users who believe he accurately expressed his criticism through his harsh tweets.
Someone commented on Paul's victory, saying: “He only faced one actual boxer in Tommy Fury and was defeated. He chooses his opponents carefully and always has an unfair advantage.”
Another wrote: “It is actually sick, he looked 5 weight classes bigger. Clear weight advantage on all of those shots.”
A third added: “Only time he fought someone his age and size was Tommy Fury and he lost LOL.”
While a fourth commented: “FINALLY you say something. AGREED.”
Paul talked about McGregor's angry speech during the press conference after beating Perry, and he said: “Conor's tweeting, he's chilling on his boat, but you know where he's not? In the ring facing me.”
