The show is almost as violent and full of sex as The Boys
What are your thoughts when we mention an amazing X-rated show starring Antony Starr, filled with explicit content and intense scenes?
We are not here today to discuss The Boys.
Starr has appeared in other television series before taking on the role of Homelander, with one of them being praised as ‘the top action show that's flying under the radar' by fans.
It's quite common for people to associate Starr with Homelander.
The actor's portrayal of the Trumpian superhero has solidified his status as an icon, with a large number of viewers considering him to be the standout element of the show, which is among the most popular on TV.
However, his performance in a different X-rated production is the one receiving praise from fans.
Check out the trailer:
Antony Starr portrayed the character of Lucas Hood, a former convict who assumes the role of a slain sheriff in the television series Banshee.
The setting is the quaint town of Banshee, where the show received high praise from both critics and viewers, even though it was not as widely recognized as Starr's other performances.
It achieved an 8.4 rating on IMDb and a 90 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, garnering reviews that were just slightly below those of The Boys. Additionally, both of its final two seasons received a flawless 100 percent rating.

The series concluded in 2016 after airing for only four brief seasons.
A post was shared in the Facebook group ‘Netflix Bangers' discussing the show, even though it is not available on Netflix. Despite this, the comments unanimously praised the show.
A comment mentioned that it is one of the finest television shows they have ever seen.
A second said: “Absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed this series”, while a third fan commented: “Doesn't get talked about enough, hell of a show”.
Another went as far as to say: “This is the best action show no one is watching.”
Allison Keene, critiquing the series' last season on Collider, remarked: “Banshee's narrative is rife with surprising turns and intricate relationships, alongside its signature intense violence.”

“In a sick streak of creativity, the show continues to find new, gruesome ways to kill people.”
The program was given a TV-MA rating primarily because of the graphic violence described above, as well as the abundance of sexual content and violence.
Banshee is the perfect series to fill the void left by The Boys as it comes to an end. With its thrilling and intense storyline, it offers a wild ride full of action, sex, and violence.
