Apparently she's incredibly ‘brave' to still be able to ‘look in the mirror and feel pretty'
Kylie Jenner is facing criticism on Instagram about her filler making her look older, but she still feels brave and pretty when she looks in the mirror, despite having a tough week.
And as if by some miracle, Kylie confessed that not just anyone could have remained so resilient in this distressing situation. In fact, she believes that she was “placed in this position for a purpose.” In a preview of an upcoming episode of The Kardashians, Kylie became teary-eyed as she expressed the emotional toll of “dehumanizing” remarks about her looks and the use of face fillers.
She had a conversation with her sister Kendall to talk about the unfair comments, especially since she has already removed some of her lip filler. Kendall began the discussion by saying that she believes the Kardashians “don't have any emotions.”
She told Kylie that if she spoke about other women the same way she talks about them, people would defend those women all the time. Unfortunately, when it comes to them, people don't seem to think they have feelings. They feel dehumanized within their family.
Kylie continued the conversation by sharing, “I find it amazing that I can still feel confident and see myself as pretty when I look in the mirror. It's been over 10 years of constantly hearing comments about my appearance, and it's just draining.” Eventually, Kylie became overwhelmed and started crying, revealing, “I've never cried over this before, but I realize it does impact me. It's frustrating that people feel it's acceptable to talk about me like that.”
She went on to discuss the comments that affect her the most, mentioning that fans have been saying she appears “old.” Kylie shared: “People have been commenting on my appearance since I was 12, 13. Even before I had lip filler, people were commenting on how I look. I see comments about looking old on every post. I believe I am strong, and I believe there's a reason I'm in this position. I consider myself confident. But I'm also human, and everyone has their limits.”
Kylie is known for her full lips, but she's upset that even after removing some of her lip filler, she still gets negative comments. She said, “I dissolved half of my lip filler last year. I'm tired of talking about it. It feels pointless because I don't think anything will change.” It's a shame Kylie is criticized, considering she hasn't promoted unrealistic beauty standards.
