Sydney Sweeney is having a great run. She impressed viewers in the romantic comedy “Anyone But You” and entertained them with her humor and confidence as the host of “Saturday Night Live” earlier this year.
Google searches for the blonde beauty have increased by 180% in the last year, and she has also experienced a significant increase in her earnings.
She has used some of her hard-earned money to invest in properties. Noteworthy acquisitions in recent years include a Tudor-style house in Los Angeles, purchased for $3 million in late 2021. Sweeney then went on to buy a humble home that belonged to her great-grandmother. Last summer, she acquired a mansion in Bel-Air, CA, that needed some renovations, for a price of $9.3 million.
Her most impressive acquisition, however, is her latest purchase: a luxurious mansion worth $13.5 million in Summerland Key, FL. According to Page Six, this sale surpasses all others in the town over the last six months, with a price tag that is more than double the $6.6 million sale of another mansion in February.
Sweeney was able to get a good deal. The mansion was originally priced at $17,999,900 in May 2022, but she got a 25% discount.
Inside the mansion
Constructed in 2015, this spacious mansion with six bedrooms is situated on a triangular plot, offering water views on two sides. The property description highlights its remarkable blend of architectural magnificence and the laid-back ambiance that characterizes the Keys lifestyle.
Notable features of the stunning architecture include a grand entrance at the front, high ceilings indoors, and a beautiful infinity pool at the rear. The design includes a breezeway in the middle, separating the main three-bedroom house from the equally luxurious guesthouse.
The spacious kitchen has windows overlooking palm trees. It is next to a dark walnut bar, a breakfast corner, and a formal dining room with chandeliers.
Additional luxurious features include a dedicated space for storing wine, a convenient elevator, a spacious aquarium, and multiple sets of washers and dryers. On the outside, there is a boat ramp, two boat lifts, and a 100-foot seawall surrounding the property.
The infinity pool with saltwater can be adjusted to be warm or cool, and it also features a bar area where you can swim up to order drinks.
Sweeney bought a property with 7,720 square feet for $1,744 per square foot, which is higher than the median price of $940 per square foot in the 33042 ZIP code.
Summerland Key is located approximately 25 miles away from Key West.
