Lexie Alford suggests that certain countries are more dangerous than others, suggesting that while some are best avoided, others are significantly more dangerous.
A woman who traveled to every country in the world listed ten countries she recommends avoiding.
Lexie Alford, the youngest person to visit every country in the world and hold the Guinness World Record, has over 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel Lexie Limitless.
Travelling is an amazing and satisfying adventure, but there are numerous factors to think about while doing so.
For certain places, your personal safety should be your main concern rather than deciding which swimsuit to bring.
When exploring dangerous areas, there are many things to consider.
From minor offenses to intense battlefields, the range of situations varies greatly.
Being kidnapped is a major danger in numerous areas, along with facing trouble with the local authorities.

These locations should be steered clear of due to safety concerns, especially when considering the moral implications of participating in a government-funded tour from a repressive regime.
Which ten countries does Lexie advise against visiting?
North Korea
North Korea is the first country mentioned. Despite its reputation for being secretive and isolated, it is still feasible to participate in a tour organized by the government.
However, these activities come with a lot of risks. If visitors act inappropriately, they could suffer severe outcomes. For instance, there was a case of a US tourist who passed away after being arrested by officials for attempting to steal a poster.
Bangladesh
Next, let's talk about Bangladesh. This country in South Asia deals with various difficulties such as terrorism and natural calamities.
Lexie remembered that in everyday life, there was a lot of minor crime and not much tourism, so tourists would easily stand out.
Libya
Libya is up next. The nation is still divided after the removal and death of dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

Much of Libya is facing issues with organized crime and militias, which makes the country extremely unsafe.
South Sudan

The Central African Republic
Next was the Central African Republic, where Lexie mentioned her plane had to spiral down in a corkscrew pattern to avoid missile attacks. That's all that needs to be said.
Somalia
Traveling to Somalia can be risky due to its high instability and frequent kidnappings targeting tourists. It is essential for all visitors to have armed guards accompanying them.
Syria
Syria has been engulfed in a decade-long conflict following the start of the Syrian Uprising in 2011.
Numerous historical sites and heritage in the country have been damaged due to the ongoing conflict led by dictator Bashar Al-Assad.
Mali
Mali is next on the list, according to Lexie, and she mentioned that it is one of the most difficult places to be kidnapped because rescue operations are nearly impossible. Let's continue.
Yemen
Yemen, the second-ranked country, also suffers from war due to Saudi Arabia's focus on Houthi Rebels who are in conflict with the Yemeni government. Yemen faces a severe humanitarian crisis with issues like famine and disease, and only a handful of countries maintain embassies there.
Afghanistan
Afghanistan takes the top spot as the Taliban regained power after the withdrawal of coalition forces in 2021.
Lexie stated that even though there is no war anymore, the Taliban's strict government makes the country very unsafe for Western tourists to visit.
