Billie Eilish caused concern among her followers after sharing an Instagram post displaying bite marks on her forearms.
The 22-year-old vocalist posted a series of photos from her Independence Day festivities, causing worry among a portion of her 119 million fans.
One of the images captures Eilish standing with her arms crossed, revealing two rings pressed into her skin. In a separate photograph, a circular bruise is visible on her arm as she raises it.
Fans promptly expressed their worry in the comment section. One inquired, “Is she alright?” while another questioned, “Can you clarify the bite marks?”
Billie failed to offer any explanation for the bites and bruises, however, she did include two firework emojis in her caption.
In additional images from the presentation, she was seen wearing a pink bikini top paired with a white towel secured around her waist.
Following Billie's appearance on the cover of Interview magazine last month, she engaged in a detailed discussion with singer Lana Del Rey. The conversation between the two artists covered a range of topics, such as Billie's most recent album, “Hit Me Hard And Soft,” their close bond, and their personal encounters with romantic relationships.
Eilish shared, “I have a power issue and a control issue, and I also don't like being vulnerable in a romantic way. It makes me feel uncomfortable, and I don't know how many times I've really been in love.”
She continued, “I think there's different versions of love, and I think that you can be in love and it might not be deep. I'm not going to get too in detail, because I'm going to be rude, but I've never been dumped, and also, I've never been broken up with. I've only done the breaking up.”
Lana's suggestion that Billie could be “running from a relationship” was met with agreement from Billie. “Definitely. And I believe when others hear that, they might think, ‘Oh, you're just a heartbreaker.' Yes, but that doesn't imply that others are completely blameless. It simply means that I thought, ‘Oh, I need to get out of here.' Or it means that things just weren't working,” she explained.
Billie acknowledged the emotional strain that comes with ending a relationship. She expressed that while being broken up with can be incredibly painful, the agony of having to initiate the breakup with someone you deeply care about is equally devastating.
