Two ex-Twitch staff members have alleged that Dr DisRespect sent inappropriate messages to an underage individual.
Dr DisRespect has addressed the situation following allegations made by a former Twitch employee, who stated that he had been banned from the platform for engaging in inappropriate communication with a minor.
The renowned streamer faced a ban from Twitch in 2020; however, the cause behind this action was never revealed.
He has transferred his content to YouTube, but Dr DisRespect, also known as Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, is currently dealing with accusations of texting a minor.

A former Twitch employee recently emerged with accusations regarding his ban, claiming that he engaged in inappropriate communication with a minor through text messages.
The post was further supported by another Twitch employee, as reported by The Verge.
Following this incident, the streamer, renowned for his expertise in gaming titles such as Black Ops 4, Fortnite, and H1Z1, faced the consequence of being released from his affiliation with Midnight Society.
In 2021, Beahm established the studio in collaboration with Robert Bowling, Quinn Del Hoyo, and Sumit Gupta.
Dr DisRespect has recently released an extensive statement regarding his 2020 Twitch suspension, the allegations he is confronting, and the reasons behind his delayed response to the situation.

Beahm expressed his straightforwardness on X by stating, “Let's eliminate all unnecessary nonsense. As you are aware, I don't hold back in my communication. I have consistently been honest and transparent with all of you regarding anything that I can openly discuss. I am always ready to take responsibility, which is why I am addressing this matter at present.”
I would like to begin by expressing my sincere apologies to the members of my community, my close acquaintances, my team, and all the individuals associated with Midnight Society Game Studio.
Many individuals have been kept uninformed about the events that occurred yesterday involving the midnight society and myself. As a group, we have come to the difficult decision for me to resign.
He continued by stating that the team consists of highly skilled and ethical individuals, emphasizing that he would never risk compromising their professional growth or the company's values.

Beahm's statement persisted: “The curiosity surrounding my Twitch ban has been immense, yet due to circumstances beyond my influence, I have been unable to provide any explanation for the past few years.
Now that two ex-Twitch staff members have come forward with the allegations, I am able to share my perspective on the ban.

They were simply casual and mutual conversations that occasionally veered towards being inappropriate, but they did not extend beyond that.

The streamer has stated that he will fully accept responsibility and acknowledged that such conversations should never have taken place.
“Now, with all this said, don't get it f**king mistaken, I've seen all the remarks and labels being throw around so loosely,” Beahm further shared.
“Social media is a destruction zone. I'm no f**king predator or pedophile. Are you kidding me? Anyone that truley [sic] knows me f**king knows where I stand on those things with those types of people. F**k that.
“That's a different level of disgust that I f**king hate even hearing about. Don't be labeling me as the worst of the worst with your exaggerations. Get the f**k outta here with that sh*t.”
He concluded the post by telling his 2.5 million X followers that he will not be ‘disappear'.
