Hopefully the new owner is able to manage the strength of the 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12.
Tim Gillean, a billionaire businessman, has added the newest Pagani Utopia to his already impressive car collection in the United States.
Gillean co-founded Cross Equities, and his son, Gage Gillean, manages the GG Exotics YouTube channel. The Gilleans made headlines in November 2020 when Gage, who was 17 at the time, wrecked his father's one-of-a-kind purple carbon fiber Pagani Huayra Roadster.
The family's new Utopia is as well-equipped as their old Huayra Roadster. It has a mix of white and carbon fiber on the outside. Turquoise touches, like a stripe down the middle and details on the brakes, make it stand out.
The car's inside has many unique details. The bucket seats, backed with carbon fiber, are mostly covered in fancy white leather with a black leather pattern in the middle. Glossy satin carbon fiber can be seen in various places, like the dashboard and shift paddles. There are also plenty of exposed aluminum parts, adding style to the steering wheel, gauge cluster, central control stack, and transmission tunnel.
The Utopia runs on a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 from AMG, which pumps out 852 hp and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque. With a weight of just 2,822 lbs (1,280 kg), this car packs a serious punch. Let's hope Gage drives this car more cautiously than his dad's Huayra Roadster to prevent any accidents.
The Utopia is available with a seven-speed manual or an X-trac seven-speed automated manual transmission, and this specific model comes with the latter.
