George W. Bush is a grandfather, again – Grandson named in honor of great-grandfathers

Congratulations to George W. Bush, the former president of the , on the joyous occasion of becoming a grandfather for the fifth time.

At the age of 78, Bush joyfully revealed the delightful news of his 's latest addition by posting a photo featuring his daughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, alongside her , Craig Coyne, and their charming baby boy, Edward Finn Coyne.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Edward Finn Coyne! @laurawbush and I are overjoyed to become grandparents to our precious miracle, born on August 4. His name was selected to pay tribute to his great-grandfathers. A special thank you to Barbara, Craig, and his big sister Cora Georgia!

Jenna Bush Hager, the sister of Barbara and co-anchor on the Today show, expressed her excitement about becoming an aunt once more. She took to to share, “My sister welcomed a baby boy, and I'm completely smitten with Edward Finn! ❤️💗👼,” accompanied by some adorable photos.

Barbara and Craig's first child, Cora, was born in 2021.

Jenna has three kids of her own, and little Edward Finn is the fifth grandchild of the former President and his wife, Laura Bush.

When baby Cora came into the world, George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, happily shared the news on . They posted, “With so much joy, @laurawbush and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new granddaughter. Barbara welcomed Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021, in Maine, close to our family home where Barbara and Craig tied the knot. Cora is healthy and super cute, and we feel proud and thankful.”

The family hasn't shared more about baby Edward Finn's arrival, but from the pictures posted by Jenna and the NYU Langone Health label on the baby's hat, it seems that Barbara probably had the baby at the famous hospital in .
