Apple enthusiasts are expressing astonishment and excitement upon uncovering the ‘hack', leaving them completely amazed.

iPhone users have recently come to realize that the line at the bottom of their smartphone screen has a brilliant function.

In addition to the 2022 iPhone SE, individuals with an Apple phone made after the iPhone X won't find a home button on their device to press.

In 2017, Apple decided to remove the home button and replace Touch ID with advanced recognition .

When the home button was removed, tech enthusiasts were sad. A new report suggests that the from will get rid of all traditional buttons in their next model.

Before it was removed, the home button had multiple uses like unlocking your phone and closing apps.

Apple executives made the decision to remove it because they wanted the iPhone X to provide users with fresh and seamless experiences.

When the smartphone was launched, Philip Schiller, Apple's ex-senior VP of Worldwide Marketing, mentioned that it marked the start of a new era for the iPhone, with features like ID, AR games, and Animoji in Messages.

After removing the home button, Apple added the ‘home bar' or ‘home indicator' to the iPhone X.

This line, located at the bottom of your iPhone, allows you to switch between and close open apps by swiping left, right, or directly on the line.

Even though the home bar was launched seven years ago, a few smartphone users are only now discovering its features with surprise.

One  user recently wrote: “How did I not know this?”

“I'm new to iPhone thanks for this,” replied another regarding the hack.

“My jaw is on the floor,” said one  account holder, while someone else typed: “I'm THIS old and just learned this??”

Keep in mind that if you have an iPhone with a home button, you won't have access to the home bar.

Apple has announced that the iOS 18 update will be released shortly.

Earlier this month, Apple revealed that iPhones will be able to download iOS 18 later this year.

The most recent software update, expected to arrive in the autumn, was revealed at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10th.

Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering, expressed excitement about the launch of iOS 18.

“It is a huge release with incredible features, including new levels of customisation and capability, a redesigned Photos app, and powerful ways to stay connected with Messages.”

During the tech summit at Apple Park, it was announced that ChatGPT would be included in the update without any extra charges for users.

After the announcement, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with Apple to introduce ChatGPT to their users in a fresh manner.

Apple shares our dedication to and innovation, and this collaboration is in line with OpenAI's goal of making advanced AI available to all.

Mashable reported that ChatGPT might introduce new features to iOS. These features could involve asking Siri for recipe suggestions and using Compose to create bedtime stories for children.

You can update a few iPhone models to iOS 18 when it is released later this year.
