The Iron Man actor received assistance from The Avengers in creating a funny speech to commemorate Hemsworth's star on the iconic LA landmark.
Robert Downey Jr. asked the Avengers for help in putting together a speech for Chris Hemsworth's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony. The speech turned out to be funny instead of serious.
The 59-year-old Iron Man star entertained the audience with some playful jabs while commending his Australian friend's acting skills on Wednesday.
He was one of Hemsworth's closest friends and family members who showed up to show their support at the iconic location in Los Angeles, following the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recognizing him for his amazing work in movies.
Chris Hemsworth, the actor who played Thor, was accompanied by his spouse Elsa Pataky and their three kids: India Rose, who is 12 years old, and their twin sons Sasha and Tristan, who are both 10 years old. Also present were Robert Downey Jr., George Miller, the director of Mad Max, and Anya Taylor-Joy, who starred in Furiosa.
Downey Jr spoke to the audience and mentioned that he had asked some of the Marvel actors to assist him in creating a special speech.
He requested his superhero friends to assist him in summarizing Hemsworth in three words, leading to some funny responses that were more amusing than flattering.

Downey Jr began: “What is Chris Hemsworth?
“Renner says, ‘Absurdly, annoyingly amazing'. Ruffalo came in strong with ‘friend from work'.
“Scarlett got to the heart of it with ‘sensitive leading lady'. Captain America calls him the ‘second best Chris'.
“And I'll bring it to the here and now: There is no one who deserves it more. He is ‘Hollywood star recipient.'”
Downey Jr playfully teased Hemsworth before giving a heartfelt speech praising his accomplishments in the Avengers movies.
He added, “I personally crafted all my comments, so they will be exceptionally perceptive and brilliant.”
The infectious charm of an Aussie extends beyond their cape and hammer. You are an extraordinary individual.
You are legendary. Describing Chris can be a bit challenging. He is quite mysterious due to his attractive appearance.

“However, upon further inspection…down under…he has a true wit and depth of soul and it has been my sincere pleasure to know you,” Downey Jr. said.
You always keep us Hollywood people on our toes because you're the real deal.
Downey Jr expressed excitement for Hemsworth's new movie, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, released today. He believes it will be the top film of 2024.
Earlier this week, Hemsworth, the actor from Hunger Games, revealed his amazing change into the character Dr Dementus.
Surprisingly, the Australian confessed that he had been waiting for his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for a while, as he believed he would receive it back in 2019.
He informed Variety that the Avengers: Endgame actors were requested to leave their handprints in cement outside the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. So, he connected the dots and concluded that a star was on its way.
Hemsworth chuckled, “I actually thought that was the Walk of Fame! So when we did it, I was like, ‘Oh nice, I'm getting a star'.”
I was informed that it wasn't what I thought it was. I pretended to understand. Later on, I asked, “Where's the star?”
