If the American author known as the ‘King of Horror' suggests something in the genre, it would be wise to pay attention.
The 76-year-old author is famous for writing books like It, The Shining, and The Green Mile, all of which have been made into successful movies.
Despite his ongoing commitment to writing and publishing novels on a regular basis, he also makes sure to allocate time for reading books and indulging in a variety of TV series and movies that capture his interest.

The top ones receive a mention on his X profile, with more than 7.1 million followers, and yes, the movie in question was highly praised.
King has described the movie as a ‘creature feature' and mentioned that it is ‘quite good'. He specifically praised the climax of the film.
The Netflix horror movie was suggested to him by viewers and he decided to give it a try. He was pleasantly surprised when he finally sat down to watch the one hour and 45 minute film, which was released last Wednesday (5 June).
Later, he posted on X: “I initially thought Under Paris would be a silly movie, similar to Sharknado, but after seeing recommendations on Twitter, I decided to watch it, and I was pleasantly surprised. The final 25 minutes were truly impressive.”

The movie takes place in Paris and tells the story of a destructive creature that brings chaos to the city, leading it towards a catastrophic fate.
Indeed, there is a huge shark that happens to attack during a weekend when many swimmers are coincidentally in the Seine for a triathlon.
The Seine is like Paris' version of the River Thames, which makes people mock the movie right away.
The movie was a big hit on Netflix, with many viewers saying it's the scariest shark movie ever.
